Business Hunter works with a network of more than 20 local chambers across an area stretching from the Mid North Coast to Lake Macquarie and inland to Scone.
We provide advocacy support to chambers on important local issues and partner with them to present events. Chambers also have the opportunity to integrate their local awards programs with the Hunter and NSW Business Awards, to provide more opportunities for local entrants to progress and showcase their business success.
Business Hunter presents an annual Chamber Day to provide local chambers with tips, tools and resources to help them work effectively with businesses and promote their towns and areas.
We also convene meetings of chamber representatives and economic development managers from our regional councils to discuss matters of common interest. During 2020, we facilitated two such meetings to discuss local responses to COVID-19 and share ideas for stimulating business recovery.
